for Clothing, Shoes, Purses, Etc

What We Are Looking for…
 
We are interested in Special Occasion, Designer Name, Western Cowgirl, Cruise Wear or fashionable better apparel, shoes, boots, scarves, hats, coats, outerwear, formal wear, jewelry, swim suits, cruise wear, sizes 2-18, X-Small - XLarge, etc. 
 
Below is an example of the Designers we are looking for consignment:
 
Evan Picone, DNKY, BCBG, Scully, Gringo, Jones of New York, INC, French Laundry, Dan Post, Tony Lama, Pendleton, Eileen Fisher, Chico’s, Coldwater Creek, Emma Smith, Tess, CIAO, St John, Escada, Roberto Cavalli, Jean Paul Gaultier, Versace, Gucci, Yves St. Laurent, Christian Dior, Prada, Thierry Mugler, Chanel, Moschino, Giorgio Armani, Dolce & Gabbana, Badgley Mischka, Alberta Ferretti, Givenchy, Louis Vuitton, Burberry, Hermes, Fendi, Manolo Blahnik, Juicy Couture, Judith Lieber, Bottega Veneta, Sue Wong, Richard Tyler, Diane Von Furstenberg, Chloe, Jimmy Choo, Donna Karan, Karl Lagerfeld, Valentino, Salvadore Ferragamo, Michael Kors, Emanuel Ungaro, Ralph Lauren and Premium Denim Designers such as NYDJ, Rock & Republic, AG Adriano Goldschmied, Paper Denim and Cloth, Chip & Pepper, Joe’s Jeans, Diesel, plus many other fine American and European Designers.
 
 
We do not take clothing items from discount retailers such as
Wal-Mart, Fashion Bug, K-Mart, Shopko, Target, Old Navy, etc.
Please understand that items from these stores are already sold at bargain prices. The quality of such items tends to diminish quickly.  
 
It’s Really Easy!

We will begin taking Spring and Summer
Garments and Accessories on January 3rd, 2012.
 
We accept consignments on
Tuesday and Thursdays between 5-6 p.m.  Appointments are not necessary!
If this time does NOT work for you, please contact us!
We can only take 15 items at a time, so pick your best items for the first visit!
 
We are not responsible for loss by theft, fire, water, handling, damages caused by a customer trying an item on, or any other cause. Consignors will maintain their own insurance during consignment period.
 
Consignments are processed and displayed as quickly as possible.  Your items will be placed sooner if they are clean, ironed and ready to go!
 
If there are items we are unable to take,
we will donate them to Women’s Space, or another charity of our choice.
 
We keep items on consignment for approximately 90 days or more.  Your consignment period can be extended if both parties are agreeable.
 
You will be given a date as to when your consignment term will end. You must call within three days of contract expiration and set up an appointment to pick up unsold merchandise or discuss return of your items (if sent to us from outside the area). You will NOT be notified by Rosebud’s Boutique or the owner.  Unsold merchandise, not picked up within 10 days after the end of the contract, will become the property of Rosebud’s Boutique and may be distributed to charities, such as Women’s Space or Joyce Meyer's Dream Center Project, in Los Angeles, to benefit women in need.
 
Note: Western apparel consigned from outside the area are handle on a individual basis.
 
How the Money Works
 
45% goes to Consignor
55% goes to Rosebud's Boutique
 
We send out consignor checks on the third Thursday of the month
following the end of your consignment period. Checks are sent in the mail and NOT brought to the store for pickup.
 
Pricing Your Articles
 
Rosebud’s Boutique reserves the right to determine the price of each item brought in to consign and subsequent markdowns at any time without consulting the consignee.  Our pricing is based on research that determines original retail value and comparable secondary resale market values.

If you believe you have a Designer item which warrants a specific "high" price you must provide the original purchase receipt(s) to authenticate your item.  Without written authentication we will determine an appropriate price using our market analysis. These items may include, but are not limited to, Coach, Dolce & Gabana, Louis Vuitton, St. John, Fendi, or other such names.  Many designer names have faux/knock-offs which are very marketable but we cannot represent items as "real" if we do not have proof.  Our business reputation is a stake!
 
Our goal is to sell your consignment for the highest resale price possible; however many factors effect pricing and sale ability of the consignment item.  Thank you for your consideration!
 
 
 
We Look Forward to Consigning for You!
 
Very few locations provide consignment because it is labor intensive for the store, so.....
 
All clothing must be presented on a hanger (if not sent to us from outside the area) and free from wrinkles.*
 
  Use an inexpensive hanger, as they will not returned to you because it is too hard to know whose hanger went to whom and we cannot store hundreds of hangers!
 
All items must be freshly cleaned (not last year!), free of stains, holes, pilling, without spots, any type of damage and without any needed repairs. We do not accept items that smell of cigarette smoke! Overly worn or faded items, especially faded black garments are not accepted.  Shoes and boots must be very clean with NO soilage on ANY part including the sole!  Leather shoes and boots must be freshly polished to they look bright and clean.  Purses must be free of ANY debris inside or smells of perfume or cigarettes, no lipstick or pen marks, etc.*
 
All Items must be free of smoke, animal dander, hair or smells INCLUDING MOTH BALL STINK!!!*
 
*Consignors will be charged for the management having to clean, iron or repair items.
 
We appreciate our consignors and want to make this a pleasant experience for everyone!  Through national market research of consignment programs we have established our program which we believe is fair for everyone.  There are very few consignment shops due to the labor involved for the store.  Please be understanding as we are attempting to provide a service for you to recoup your money. Thank you!
 
The above Terms and Conditions may be changed by Rosebud's Boutique.  You will be asked to sign a Statement of Understanding and Agreement when you bring in your items for consignment.
